A Love Eight Years in the Making
Emily and Christopher’s story began eight years ago after meeting through mutual friends. Over nearly a decade, their lives have seamlessly blended into one. Their separate friend groups have merged into one big, supportive family—his friends' significant others are now her close confidantes, and vice versa.
Perhaps the most beautiful part of their eight-year journey has been watching each other achieve their lifelong dreams. Emily navigated her way through college to become a dedicated, passionate teacher. Meanwhile, Christopher evolved from running his own landscaping business to serving as an FDNY EMT, and is now proudly an FDNY Firefighter. Through every grueling shift, exam, and new season of life, they have been each other’s fiercest cheerleaders.
And, of course, their family wouldn't be complete without Sophie! Their sweet pup—who was actually born right at Emily’s mom’s house—has been a part of their lives since the very beginning and remains a beloved staple in their everyday adventures.
Adventures, Milestones, and a Bellport Bay Proposal
When they aren't working out, spending time with family, or relaxing on a local beach, Emily and Christopher are usually planning their next big getaway. They share a deep love for the outdoors, embarking on countless memorable camping trips and even enjoying a tropical escape to Jamaica.
Last June, they celebrated a massive milestone: buying their very first home together, conveniently located right around the corner from Christopher’s parents!
Christopher brought all their special memories full circle when he planned the ultimate proposal. He orchestrated a highly romantic engagement right on Bellport Bay, followed immediately by a surprise engagement party filled with all of their favorite people to toast to the news.

Their wedding day perfectly encapsulated their vibrant, fun-loving, and deeply genuine spirits. Exchanging vows right on the sand at The Pavilion at Sunken Meadow, the couple celebrated their love surrounded by the calming ocean breeze, their lifelong friends, and their incredibly supportive families.
From the emotional beachside vows to the high-energy reception that kept the dance floor packed all night, every single moment felt perfectly them.
