Okay so this vendor review has me all types of emotions because I picked my Cinematography/Videographer solely based on their website; I actually googled vendors in NY/LI because I am from NJ but was getting married in LI and had no idea where to start - and I stumbled upon their website. I could tell from their page they would be AMAZING as well as the type of people I wanted around me on the big day!I am so so so happy I choose them Keri, James, and their daughter Ashley! They are not only three of the kindness, caring, most hardworking people I have ever met but you can actually feel how much they love what they do! I met with them over the phone and their attention to detail was incredible! When I met them day of I literally thought I hit the jackpot - they provided full-day coverage from start to finish had to be almost 12 hours of work or more & were able to provide me our wedding video in less than a week! The transitions, music, and moments captured I am forever grateful for, there are no words!! Less than 3 weeks and they provided me all the raw footage as well - literally INCREDIBLE! They were the best decision I made for our wedding!Not only was the work amazing but so were their personalities and I could not have asked for better people to be with me on such an important day. They brought a calmness and were able to get my photo/video-hating husband to participate with ease (and that is not an easy job and they did it with huge smiles) I could not stop hugging them, they were incredible! From the initial emails and correspondence with Keri and James, I knew that they would be perfect for us to work with to capture the special moments of our wedding day. They are the sweetest couple and really love what they do! They are also determined to give you the best and you can definitely see it in their work! I booked them early on in the pandemic and I am so thankful that I did! The planning process was seamless and they really listened to what I was looking for in regards to my vision of how I wanted the wedding film to be. They arrived early on our wedding day with their daughter Ashley, and really got to know us and our families throughout the day. I never felt like they were "in the way" and they worked so well with our photographer. They are super friendly and so easy to get along with! We received our feature wedding film less than a week after our wedding and each time I watch it, I tear up! They really captured the emotion and love we felt on our special day! We had our wedding last Friday, 9/17/21, and had Keri, James, & Shannon of Ashley film studios capture our magical day ! I can’t even begin to explain how happy we are that we chose them ! Our wedding like many others had to be postpone due to covid, but the amazing team at Ashley film studio made postponing so easy. They were great to communicate with, they answered every question I had within hours of me emailing them and the day of they were just perfect ! The sweetest people you will ever meet, super easy going, & very creative ! They had my short 3-5 min film to me within 4 days of the wedding and my documentary only a week after ! They really love what they do and you can’t see it in their work ! I would recommend them for any & every event you have !!

Kerry and James captured every little detail with such grace! They were on time, on top of their game, and we’re a pleasure to work with! We received our 6 minute film days after our wedding and our full 3 hr docu film about a week after! We watched it together on our honeymoon and boy what an awesome film! We laughed, we cried, and most importantly we were able to relive our wedding day together ! I can’t say enough good things about Ashley Film Studios! 100000/10 would recommend

Keri & James were such a pleasure to work with. We reached out to them 6 days before our last minute wedding on the slight chance that they might be available to film our ceremony. Keri was so sweet and said they would love to video for us. Originally, we were only thinking to get the ceremony video but we are so glad we decided to get the feature film as well. One was more amazing than the next. We received our ceremony video the day after our wedding and our feature film a few days later. Both were absolutely beautiful. Besides their excellent filming skills, Keri & James (and Ashley!) are the nicest people ever. They showed up early and while doing so helped my family set up for our ceremony. They spent lots of time with us being sure they had great footage for the videos. They also reached out to us numerous times to be sure their work was exactly what we wanted. Extremely professional, and very, very highly recommended!

James and Keri are absolutely phenomenal!!! I was very picky about my wedding videographer, I wanted to make sure everything flowed smoothly and the music was just right. When I found them and saw their videos, I knew they were perfect. After talking with them, I knew they had my full trust. They were so nice and easy to work with. Even after all the changes and adjustments due to this pandemic. After receiving the wedding video, I watched it on repeat for the next week+ following. They did an outstanding job!!! It has been just over a year and a half since my daughter's wedding, yet the video made by Ashley Film Studios still brings me to tears. James and Kerri captured so many moments and added touches that made this so custom and so personal, it's almost like reliving that day again. Keri and James did an amazing job with our wedding video! We never felt like we were being filmed but they were able to capture the moments of our wedding that were "priceless"! We still cry everything we watch the video.

Hiring James and Keri to film our wedding day was the best decision my fiancé and I ever made!! From the start they were so easy to work with and beyond friendly to us! The day of our wedding they came bright and early in the morning, along with their daughter (who clearly has the same gift her parents do) and they filmed all the way till the time our guests left our wedding. To top things off, it took less than ONE WEEK to get our short film, we were watching it on our honeymoon. Can it get any better than that?! The talent that went into our video had me crying! They made it look like our wedding was an actual dream, I don’t even know how they did it! They had a longer day than we did at our own wedding and we can’t thank them enough. If it weren’t for their passion in what they do, our video wouldn’t have been the same and we feel so blessed that we found them! I can’t wait to watch all of their future wedding videos!!!

I was so surprised to hear they were on site even earlier getting drone footage. They were so respectful and kind throughout the entire day and were not intrusive at all. So easy to work with. All of our vendors loved them. They actually care and they put it 100000% effort to do the best job. Their passion really shows. We had our short film not even one week after our wedding. A picture perfect experience

Keri, James, and Shannon of Ashley Film Studios were the most professional, communicative, flexible, and FUN team for our engagement pictures! We were new to the area and they provided ideas for locations. They even called various places ahead of time to inquire about use of the space. They were extremely accommodating with our work schedules and changing locations due to COVID-19 restrictions. The team took a genuine interest in us as a couple and ensured our photographs reflected our personalities, and weren't just a series of awkward poses. Shannon’s creativity with the shots was exciting and comforting. We received all of our pictures back the next day and they reviewed the ordering process for different types of prints in great detail to ensure we were aware of our options. I would highly recommend booking them for any event. Their value is unmatched, and they are wonderful people that make you feel like family.

The BEST Videographers

Keri and James made us feel at ease from the first moment we met them. Unlike other videographers we had met with, it was obvious how much they enjoy what they do and their priority is the couple’s story. This clearly comes through in the beautiful videos they created. While filming, they were unobtrusive yet were still able to capture many moments of the day. They both made everyone feel comfortable and there were many times we forgot they were there. Before the wedding, they reached out multiple times to ensure they were well prepared to produce a film we would enjoy for years to come. Before booking with them, James said they typically get the videos done in less than a month. I found this very hard to believe as most videographers can take six months or longer. We were blown away with not only the quality of the short and longer film, but the speed in which we received the finished products. Our short video was done within a week and the longer one less than two weeks after the wedding. We cannot say enough good things about Ashley Film Studio!

Keri and James are very professional videographers with a hint of comedy! They arrived on time for my wedding day in style and rolled with the day. They made me feel extremely comfortable, getting ready hair/makeup, to putting on my dress/jewelry, to getting to the venue, they captured all the details in such creative ways. They did an amazing job editing the video too. Sometimes, I watch the video for fun just to sing along to the amazing song they chose and to relive the memories of my wedding. A wedding video is something you shouldn’t skimp on when it comes to your wedding, there are no do overs. I would highly recommend Keri and James who I reiterate are true professionals and offer very competitive rates. So don’t pass them up, consider them to capture your next event however small or big that event may be.
