Meredith & Mike: An Adventure-Loving Long Island Love Story at The Old Field Club

Cinematic Wedding Film | Long Island, NY

Every love story has its own unique rhythm. For Meredith and Mike, that rhythm is a beautiful blend of hard work, vintage charm, and a thirst for adventure. As Long Island storytelling cinematographers, our goal at Ashley Film Studios is always to dig deeper than the wedding day events to find the root of the connection—and with Meredith and Mike, the connection is profound.

Their wedding at the Old Field Club was not just a celebration of their union, but a tribute to their shared history, their ancestry, and the life they’ve built together on Long Island.

A Love Built on Support & Entrepreneurship

One of the most inspiring aspects of Meredith and Mike’s relationship is their shared drive. They are a true power couple; Mike runs his own extermination company, while Meredith is a talented wedding dress seamstress.

They understand the long days, the late nights, and the unique challenges that come with entrepreneurship. But more importantly, they know how to support one another through it all. Their story is a testament to the fact that the strongest marriages are often built on a foundation of mutual respect and teamwork.

From Dublin to Salem: Adventures in the Everyday

While they work hard, they also know how to embrace the joy of life. Their relationship shines brightest in the "in-between" moments. Whether it’s cozying up during fall weekends in Salem, MA, enjoying warm summer nights on the beach with ice cream, or spending quiet evenings in their apartment with their fur baby, Ollie, they find adventure everywhere.

A highlight of their journey together was traveling to Dublin, Ireland. With deep ties to both of their families, the trip felt like stepping into a living story of their ancestry. (Though, there is still an ongoing debate: Mike swears he’s the more Irish one, but Meredith strongly insists otherwise!)

Vintage Treasures & Cinematic Details

Meredith and Mike are collectors of stories—quite literally. Much like Ariel with her collection of treasures, they love antiques and unique pieces that hold meaning. Their home is decorated with vintage finds from their travels, making their life together a curated gallery of their journey.

This vintage aesthetic translated beautifully into their wedding day. The Old Field Club provided the perfect historic backdrop for a day filled with genuine emotion and nostalgic details.

Why We Loved Filming This Story

At Ashley Film Studios, we believe in capturing love the way it truly is: genuine, emotional, and beautifully human. We don't just film events; we film people. Meredith and Mike’s story—grounded in history yet looking forward to the future—is exactly the kind of narrative that inspires our cinematic style.

We are so honored to have been part of this day.
