What is the Main Creative Film? This is the heart of our storytelling—the artistic reason you fell in love with our work. It is a cinematic journey through your wedding day, uniquely tailored to your personality. We weave together candid emotion, genuine laughter, and storytelling dialogue, set to a hand-selected cinematic score. Every frame is professionally color-graded and sound-designed, delivered in stunning 4K to leave you and your family wanting more.
What is the Documentary Feature (Raw Edit)? Think of this as your family archive. It is a comprehensive, chronological film containing the full footage used to create your highlight. It allows you to relive the complete versions of your ceremony, speeches, first dances, and special reception moments (like the cake cutting and bouquet toss). Running approximately 45–90 minutes, it is the perfect way to watch your day unfold from start to finish.
Who will be filming our wedding? When you book Ashley Film Studios, you get us. You can trust that your day will be captured personally by the owners, James and Keri. We do not outsource your memories.
What is your filming style? We believe in the beauty of the unscripted. We are candid filmmakers, capturing moments as they naturally unfold rather than directing a production. While we may offer light guidance, our goal is for you to relax and enjoy the day you have dreamed of. We find that the most heartfelt footage happens when you forget the cameras are even there.
How do you handle music selection? You are hiring us as artists, and part of that artistry is selecting the perfect soundtrack to tell your story. We use licensed, cinematic music that swells at the right moments to evoke the specific emotions of your day. While we retain creative control to ensure the highest quality, we always welcome your input on the "vibe" you love.
Is our footage safe? (Data Security) The Art of Preservation. We believe protecting your memories is just as vital as capturing them. Leveraging James’s distinguished Level 5 background in IT and Network Management, we have architected a proprietary data sanctuary. Unlike standard studios, we operate a private, high-end data center where your files are secured on an in-house server and simultaneously mirrored to a redundant off-site facility. Your history is engineered to endure.
Do you offer drone coverage? Absolutely. Safety and legality are our top priorities. All our drone pilots are FAA Part 107 Licensed, meaning we fly legally and carry full insurance. We handle all the airspace regulations so you can simply enjoy the breathtaking aerial views of your venue.
How did you get your name? A question close to our hearts! We named our studio after our daughter, Ashley. It serves as a daily reminder of why we do what we do—capturing legacies for families to cherish.
